Maudeen Cryer James, 87, passed from this life on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana. Visitation will start on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana from 5 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 10 AM until the funeral service at 2 PM.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana at 2 PM. with Rev. Greg Crawford and Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, Louisiana.

Survivors include the following; Husband: Garsie James of Rosepine, Louisiana; Daughter: Shonda James Thomas and husband Steve A. Thomas of Rosepine, Louisiana; Grandson: James A. Thomas and wife Ashleigh G. Thomas of Pineville, Louisiana; and Grandaughter: Amber W. Thomas of Pineville, Louisiana.
