Mattie Meria Mcreynolds

Mattie Meria McReynolds, 82, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life to be present with the Lord on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

Mattie was a faithful servant of her Savior Jesus, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the daughter of Daniel and Annie Loftice.

Those who cherished her life are her loving husband of 58 years, David McReynolds of DeRidder, LA; sons, David Warren McReynolds & Rachel of River Ridge, LA, Bryan McReynolds & Susan of DeRidder, LA, Kenneth Charles McReynolds & Janet of Sulphur, LA, Timmy McReynolds & Patricia Sue of Destrehan, LA; brothers, Earnest Loftice of Baton Rouge, LA and Danny Loftice of Franklinton, LA; sisters, Wanda Madden of Metairie, LA, Patsy McReynolds and Faye Whitehead both of Austin, TX; fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA, and on Saturday, December 15, 2018, beginning at 10:00 AM.  The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother Bob Morrow and Brother Bob Coburn will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be her six McReynolds grandsons: Joshua, Caleb, Kenneth, Seth, Ramsey, and Gabriel. Her body will rest at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
