Mary Parker

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Reeves Parker, 85, passed from this life on Monday, April 15, 2024. Mary Evelyn was born on September 25, 1938 in DeQuincy, La to Elbert and Elizabeth McConathy Reeves of Ragley, La. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earnest W. Parker of Texas.

Mary Evelyn was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley and the Magnolia Eastern Star Chapter. She had worked as a bank employee in Texas prior to returning to Louisiana after the death of her husband. Mary was also a member of the Maplewood Lions Club and a volunteer at Cal Cam Hospital before moving back to Ragley.

At her request there will be a simple graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Brother David Free will officiate.
