Mary Estelle Ellis

Mary Estelle Ellis, 96, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Billy Ellis of Westlake, LA, B.C. Ellis of Rosepine, LA, Craig Ellis and Anita of Westlake, LA; daughter, Mary James and Rusty of Rosepine, LA; grandchildren, William Ellis, James Ellis, Justin Ellis, Kaycie Golightly, Kile James, Kevin James, David Reynolds; great grandchildren, Atleigh, Zoey, Kaylan, Austin, Abigail and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Kearby Ellis; son, Joey Ellis; parents, Benjamin and Dora Harper; sister, Verlie Ford.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Lloyd Carroll and Brother Wade Carroll will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
