Mary Ellen Doyle Gilbert

Mary Ellen Doyle Gilbert, 78, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Dewayne Gilbert of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Susie James and Rick of DeRidder, LA, DeeDe Lockhart of DeRidder, LA, Tracy Walker and Mickey of Oklahoma City, OK; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Alvin David Gilbert; daughter, Tina Marie Gilbert; parents, Curtis "Hotshot" and Addie Doyle; brother, Carbet Doyle; sister, Dovie Ann Hargrove.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Dr. Anderson Stricklin will officiate the service.
