Marko Engrum

Marko Eugene Engrum, 49, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Daphne Engrum; sons, Marquise Engrum of Dallas, TX, Malike Engrum of Dallas, TX; daughter, Breanna Walton of DeRidder, LA; mother, Myra Engrum of Baton Rouge, LA; father, Larry Mazyck of DeRidder, LA; brother, Jermare Clinton of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Marquise Engrum, Jr., D-Ryenn Stewart; nephew, Jeremiah Dixon; special friend, Naomi Lubin and a host of cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Alisha Dixon; grandparents, Calvin Engrum, Jr. and Dorothy Engrum.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial COGIC, 501 E. North St., DeRidder, LA. Reverend Samuel Calvin Loftin will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Daniel Crosley, David Crosley, Michael Engrum, Cornelius Walton, Michael Mazyck, Jamere Clinton, Edwin Green, Jr., Trent Banks, Horace Davis, Jr., Joey Warner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jarvis Engrum, Calvin Engrum, III, Reverend Jeffery Engrum, Richard Jackson, Calvin Singleton, Maurice Engrum, Joe Louis. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
