Marie Myers Doyle, 86, of DeRidder, Louisiana, loving wife and mother, was promoted to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Grabow United Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Kenneth Gibson and Pastor Greg Mortenson officiating. Internment will follow in Old Cypress Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, July 31. 2020, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Grabow Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rev. Henry Doyle, her parents, Anthony and Georgettia Myers, siblings, Edward Myers, Arley Myers, H.C. Myers, Sybil Whiddon, Retha Ashworth, Reba Hale, Dorothy Blanchard, Wilford Myers, Clabert Myers, Buford Myers, and two grandchildren, Tanner Bailey and Sawyer Hickman.

Her focus in life was centered around her God, her children and her great-grandchildren.

She served beside her beloved husband in the ministry for many years. In addition, she served in the capacity of Sunday School teacher, Youth Leader and was a founding member of The Jubilations gospel singing group. She was last employed with Stine Lumber Company for approximately 18 years, where she was known and loved by her fellow employees and customers. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing and gospel music, but most of all her favorite hobby was rocking her grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Melanie Hickman and Jason Doyle; her grandchildren, Brandi Logan, Michael Hickman, Matthew Hickman, and Alexis Williams, her great-grandchildren, Ad’ve Reeves, Daina Bailey, Briggs Hickman, one brother, Clabert Myers, and an abundance of nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart.
