Marcus Antwan Jackson

Marcus Antwan Jackson, 32, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Ida Sweet and husband Gregory, fiancée; Kiara S. Palmer, son, D’Monte A. Jackson; daughter, Kimya A. Jackson all of Merryville, LA; brothers, KeAndre Jackson, Patrick Jackson, Gregory Sweet, Jr. all of Merryville, and Marshall Sweet of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Alycia Samuel and Brittany Mitchell of Houston, TX, Ivona Sweet of Lake Charles, LA, and Cherrisse Hooper of Merryville, LA; and a host of loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Lorean Jackson of Bon Wier, TX, Bennie Myers of Beaumont, TX, and Katherine Sweet of Merryville, LA.

Visitation and Funeral services will be Saturday, August 2, 2014 at United Christian Fellowship in Newton, TX.  Visitation is from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Belgrade Community Cemetery in Belgrade, TX.  Minister Bryan Foster will officiate.
