Malcolm Keith Gibson, 76, of Fisher, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Keith proudly served his country nine years in the United States Marine Corp and retired after more than twenty years from the Army Reserves. He then went on to work as an administrator in the Civil Service Sector at Fort Polk.


Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Joshua Hunter Gibson of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Nicole Gibson Brien and Shane of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Peggy Owens and Dennis of Fort Myers, FL, LaNell Darst of Decatur, IL, Daena Gibson of Yuma, AZ; brother-in-law, Jordan Humble and Kristy of Polson, MT; sisters-in-law, Renee Humble Myers of Benton, PA, Ingia Humble Parish of Marshall, TX; brother-in-law, Hardy Myers of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Catherine “Cate” Amanda Brien, Elizabeth “Ella” Brien, Sadie Margaret Brien and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Humble Gibson; parents, H.B. “Hoot” and Alice Gibson; father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Lucille Humble; brother, Robert Edgar Gibson; sister-in-law, Amanda Humble Bumgardner.


Memorial Bingo in his honor will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Zwolle-Ebarb VFW Post 5187 in Zwolle, LA. A private interment will be held at a later date at the St. James Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, LA.
