Made L. Evans 88, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed from this life on Friday, January 14, 2011 in DeRidder. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 1 P.M. at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder. Bro. KIeith Stevens will officiate. Intement will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.

Ms. Madie is survived by Sons: George P. & Demetra Evans of Cherry Hill, NJ, Rev. Walter R. & Lois Evans of DeRidder, LA, Willie R. & Marilyn Evans of DeRidder, LA, Jerry W. Evans of San Antonio, TX; Daughters: Emma J. Smith & fiance Steve James of DeRidder, LA, Lucy M. Nichols of Houston, TX, LaZetta E. & Eric Henderson of Houston, TX; Brother: Walter A. Scott of Longview, TX; Sisters: Annie P. Scott of Houston, TX, Maggie S. Nash of Houston, TX, Nelda J. Jernigan of Houston, TX; 25 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren.
