Louis “Yank” Vincent, Jr., 56, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Joseph L. Vincent and Angela of Iowa, LA, James Cain of Sulphur LA, Donald Vincent and Amanda of Westlake, LA, Anthony Cain and Michelle of Texas, Leslie Vincent and Candi of Grand Lake, LA, Keith Vincent of Lake Charles, LA and Billy Ray Dougas and Tiffany of Sulphur, LA; sisters, Norma Braxton and fiancé, Kevin Scott of DeRidder, Elaine Vincent of Lake Charles and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Vincent, Sr.; mother, Betty Duhon Vincent; sister, Sally Jean Istri.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, May 18, 2019 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Reverend Frank Holder will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Scott, Dewey Hickerson, Lee Babin, Johnny Gurlington, Ricky Burnett, William O’Banion. Honorary pallbearer will be Jasmine Scott.  Burial will follow at Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur, LA.
