Lol Rue Louis Sampson

July 11, 1934 - July 4, 2014

Lol Rue Sampson, 79, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 4, 2014 in Lake Charles, LA.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Clarence Dixon and Commodore Dixon; daughters, Janice Dixon, Jane Cornell Lewis Randle, Carlos Jones Mackey and husband Robert, and Carolyn Jones; brother, Elder Tommy Jordan; grandchildren, Shasda, Kedrick, and Faith Randle, Carlon D. Jones, Bryon and Melissa Lindsey; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Artis Louis; brother, Willie J. Lewis; grandchildren, Clarence Dixon and Alicia Dixon.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
