Lisa Renee Thompson Bradford, 60, of Newton, TX, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cassie Jenkins and Michael “Lil Pop” of Merryville, LA; son, Cagney Coody and Melanie of Bossier City, LA; significant other, Hirl Haynes of Newton, TX; brother, Rickey Thompson and Sharon Hall of Wolf Den, TX; lifelong friend, Pamela Marze Whatley of Newton, TX; grandchildren, Maylen Coody, Caius Coody, Cohen Coody (arriving May, 2023), Aja Jenkins, Aubrey Jenkins, CJ Johnson, F. “Skeeter” Mitchell; great grandchildren, Isiah, Orion, Jr., Carter and Marleigh (arriving May, 2023)  and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie James Bradford; parents, Troy and Shirley Thompson; brother, Charles Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 16, 2023, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Jason Fortenberry will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dillon Flanigan, Matthew Thompson, Lawain Thompson, Kevin Self, Harrison Wiley, Rick Butters. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kadeem Hudson, Darrell Thompson, Carl Thompson, Elton Wayne Thompson. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.
