Linda Hickman

Linda Hickman, 78, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 23, 2021.

Linda was known for her elegance and grace with a little sass to boot. She loved her family fiercely. Her younger days were full of adventure and in her later years, she enjoyed cheering on her family in their own life journeys. Linda was an avid gardener known for her beautiful displays of flowers and she loved her animals deeply. She touched many lives during her time on this earth and will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Theresa Stout and Bobby, JoAnn Farris and Bruce, all of DeRidder, LA; sister, Beth Smith and Mark of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Andrew Cronce and Tiffany, Falon Farris, Ethan Rykard, McKenzie Pittman and Ritchie, Audrey Irvin and Larry; great grandchildren, Kynli, Alayna, Korben, Maci, Conway and Thomas; furbabies, Teenie and Tiny and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Norwood Hickman; daughter, Paula Rykard; parents, Smoky and Margie Green.

Graveside Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 26, 2021 at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Deacon Al Weinnig will officiate the service.
