It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Gayle Henson Caldwell, who gained her "glitter wings" on March 22, 2025, at the age of 78. Linda, born on August 1, 1946, in Camp Polk, LA, was known for her selflessness and her unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and community. She will be remembered for her kindness, promptness, and the love she had for her grandchildren, as well as her passion for her career as a realtor at Caldwell Realty.
As a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church, Linda was an active participant in various community services including her role as president of the Realtors Association. She also had a distinguished career; she worked in the inspector general's office on Fort Polk and worked with the 8th Army in South Korea as the General's secretary.
Linda loved to fish with her husband and kids and found joy in cooking and entertaining loved ones. She loved to travel, especially to one of her favorite places, Mexico. She loved bling and sequins, and she was the most gracious and classy lady you would ever meet. She was also a very strong lady, fighting her illness with remarkable courage until her last breath.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of thirty seven years, Dean A. Caldwell of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Michelle Laws of Gonzales, LA; sons, David A. Caldwell of Dallas, TX, Christopher R. Caldwell of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Brittany Flippo and Casey, Allie Laws, Carson Reed Laws; great granddaughter, Holland Rose Flippo; brother, John Henson and Donna of Ruston, LA; fur baby, Brez and a host of other family and friends.
