Leslie Carl Peavy

Leslie Carl Peavy, 70, of Leesville, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Leslie was born December 12, 1953 to Mery Joy and Orville Peavy of Rosepine, LA. He worked offshore for forty-nine years, before retiring in 2018. Leslie was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved his family with all his heart. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of forty-five years, Peggy Peavy of Leesville, LA; sons, David Peavy of DeRidder, LA, Matthew Peavy and Amy of DeRidder, LA; granddaughters, Katlyn Morrow and Cameron of DeRidder, LA, Kaylee Crawford and Justin of Turkey Creek, LA; grandson, Weston Peavy; great grandsons, Brodie Morrow, Hudson Crawford; great granddaughters, Sophia Crawford, Peyton Morrow; Katlyn and Kaylee’s mom, Stacie Peavy; brother, Davis Peavy and Pat of Rosepine, LA; sister, Linda Ritter of Lake Charles, LA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Betty Banks of DeRidder, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Rodney Leech will officiate the service.
