Leamon Robson, Jr.

Leamon Robson Jr. was born in DeRidder, Louisiana on October 15, 1953 to the late Leamon Robson Sr. and Minnie Gill Robson. He was reared in DeRidder, Louisiana and attended school in Beauregard Parish.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and united with the Sweet Home Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. D.J. Jones where he was an active member of the usher board.  He was a loyal and dedicated member until his health failed.  He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Vivian J. Robson. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leamon & Minnie Robson; 4 Siblings; Charlie White Jr., Juanita Williams, Ester Lee Scott and Shirley Ann McKnight.

On December 3, 2016, Leamon Robson Jr. was called home to rest.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Vivian J. Robson; 4 children: Robin O’Banion, Crystal Gail Puckett, Jennifer Puckett and Kenny Ray Puckett (Carmel);  8 grandchildren: D’Shyia Bolton, Ja’Kaylin Puckett, Keelin Puckett, Ja’ere Gamble, Joviaun Wevster, Jaquille Gamble, Malcolm Banks and Tre’ O’Banion; 2 nieces: Helen Tatman and Shawna McKnight-Brazzle (William); 3 Nephews: Marvin Harris, Richard Scott and Derrick McKnight; the Carlisle Boys, and a host of family, cousins and loving friends.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Sweet Home Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA. (501 Carlisle Street) with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
