Lawrence L. Jackson Jr., 60, of Dallas, TX, passed from this life on Sunday, October 18, 2015.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Ethel Mae Jackson of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Joseph Jackson and wife Carolyn of DeRidder, LA, Ronnie Jackson of DeRidder, LA, Alfred Jackson of Washington D.C., and Derwin Jackson and wife Donna of Tupelo, MS; sisters, Marie Irizarry of Temple Hills, MD, Paricia Bettis and husband Paul of Lake Charles, LA, Brenda Hall and husband Curtis of Hinesville, GA, Victoria Dees and husband Timothy of Mobile, AL, and Felicia Sumpter and husband Estrada of Ft. Drum, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Jackson, Sr., sister, Debra Jackson; and brother, John Jackson.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in DeRidder.  Visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.  Rev. Reginald Jordan will officiate.
