Laura Mae Samuel

Laura Mae Samuel, 83, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.  Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Carheel of DeRidder, LA, and Johnnie Carheel of San Diego, CA; daughters, Gladys Brazzle of DeRidder, LA, Ruby Conaway of Goochland, VA, Jacklyn Wesson of Arlington, TX, and Theresa Crutchfield of Bethany, LA; 29 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Cunie Samuel; sons, Tommy J. Carheel, Theo Carheel, and David M. Carheel; daughter, Johnnie M. Maxie; sister, Elizabeth Thornton.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am with funeral service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Rev. John Crosley will officiate.
