Larry "Joe" Young

Mr. Larry “Joe” Young, 60, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Willis-Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Born in DeRidder, Louisiana, October 25, 1951, to the late Mr. James Ocie Young and Mrs. Eula Mae Frusha Young. Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Deanna LaCombe Young of DeRidder, daughter Angie Young Mullens and husband James of DeRidder, stepson, Dillon McEwan of DeRidder, brothers D.J. Young & wife Janice of DeRidder, Ricky Young & wife Brenda of DeRidder, Junior “Jim” Young of Baton Rouge, sister Ella Dee Martin of DeRidder, grand-daughter Jaimee Mullens of DeRidder, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at  2:00 p.m. at Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder. Rev. Jeff Phillips and Rev. Donnis Ashworth will be officiating.  Visitation will be on Sunday, March 11 from 5-9 p.m. and again on Monday, March 12, from 10:00 a.m.  until time of service at Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
