Landus Joyce Bryant Patterson, 66, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, February 16, 2020.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Lopez Bryant of DeRidder, LA; step-daughter, Carolyn Thomas of DeRidder, LA; brother, Douglas Hunt of Many, LA; sisters, Norvella Hadnot and Thomas of Round Rock, TX, Vivian Robson of DeRidder, LA, Stephanie Bryant of DeRidder, LA; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Keithan Maurice Bryant; brother, Melvin Martin, Jr.; sisters, Hommezel Bryant, Maxine Grace; father, John Thomas Bryant; mother, Lucille Newman Martin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Pastor Alvin Peters will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Clifford Wallace, Damino Davis, Kareem Davis, Desmond Piper, Curtis Wallace and Charleston Bryant.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Silas, Marvin Silas, Bobby Silas, Terry Silas and Frank Silas. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Repast will be held at the Masonic Lodge in DeRidder, LA following the interment.
