Landry Reid Wingate

Landry Reid Wingate, 75, of Marlow, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Landry Reid Wingate, II of Austin, TX; daughters, Mary Alice Wingate of Marlow, LA, Lisa Kay Wingate Deason and Greg of DeRidder, LA; sister, Diana Wingate of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Savannah Milner, Tanner Milner, Colter Milner, Kaytlyn Deason, Odyssey Wingate, Taylor Laughlin, Jacob Poole;  great grandchildren, Weston Layne Deason, Charlie Rae Finn:  fur baby, Peanut; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy “Kitty” Wingate; parents, Obie and Thelma Wingate; sister, Mary Virginia Wingate.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 6, 2023, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother George Lee Glass and Brother Arlon Smith will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tanner Milner, Colter Milner, Greg Deason, Chris Finn, Jeffery Reid Hickman, Tyler Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Hickman, Jason Rogers. Burial will follow at Marlow Cemetery in Pitkin, LA.
