Kennie Perkins, Jr.

Kennie Perkins, Jr., 71, of Florien, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Perkins of Florien, LA; sons, Ronnie Bailey & wife Tammy of DeRidder, LA and Allen Perkins & wife Chrissie of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Sharon Mougeot & husband Frank of Kinder, LA; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kennie & Ivy Perkins, Sr.; son, Jerry Bailey and sister, Hilda Perkins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 5:00-10:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will continue on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Myers Colonial Funeral home, from 9:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM. Officiating the service will be Brother James Byrd. Pallbearers will be Gary Suydam, Ronnie Bailey, Allen Perkins, Jeff Suydam, Aaron Bailey and Frank Mougeot.  Honorary pallbearers are Jared Doyle and Barney Bailey.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA. We would like to thank everyone for all their prayers and support.  He will truly be missed by all.
