Kenneth Randall Gill

Kenneth Randall Gill, 54, of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at his home. Mr. Gill was a life resident of the Merryville area.  He worked as a diesel mechanic but worked on anything. He loved to hunt and fish and was of the apostolic faith. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and step-father, Helen and David Stracener; step-brother, David L. “Bubba” Stracener of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Karen Kauffman and husband Steve of Merryville, LA, Cherylene Hickman and husband Giles of Longville, LA, Kristie Nolen and husband Curtis of Pitkin, LA, Katie Knox and husband Johnnie of DeRidder, LA, and step-sister, Darlene Stracener and husband Bill of DeRidder, LA and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10:00am also at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Foshee Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Bro. Clyde Dowden will officiate.
