Kenneth Rabon Holaway

Kenneth “Bud” Rabon Holaway, 80, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on  Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Opal Poindexter Holaway of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Kathy Mitchell and Chris of Many, LA, Debra Johnson and Charlie of Sulphur, LA, Amanda Smith of DeRidder, LA and Sheila Smith Foley and John of Madisonville, LA; brothers, George Huey Holaway and Marie of Baker, LA and  Johnny Earl Holaway and Brenda of Pitkin, LA; sister, Peggy Holaway Calhoun of DeRidder, LA; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brent Holaway and parents, George “Pete” and Agnes Holaway.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Reverend Mike Lounsbury will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Mike Holaway, Michael Gaulden, Steve Holaway, Corey Gaulden, Charlie Johnson and Russell Jones.  Honorary pallbearers are Larry Harper and Charles Morrow.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Shriners or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
