Kenneth Lee Franks

Kenneth Lee Franks, 37, of Merryville, Louisiana passed from this life on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Merryville, Louisiana. Visitation was held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and again on on Monday, May 16, 2011 from 9 a.m. until time of service at Boxwood Church of Christ in Bivens, Louisiana. Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Boxwood Church of Christ in Bivens, Louisiana. Bro. Joey Franks and Scott Cornes officiated. Interment followed at Bivens Cemetery in Bivens.

Kenneth was a 1993 graduate of Merryville High School. He wored in the logging industry for many years. His favorite pastimes were sitting on the bank of the river and building and collecting model airplaines. Kenneth also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory:  his parents, johnny & Kayla Franks of Merryville;
a sister, Tamela & Anthony Carlson of DeRidder; a sister-in-law, Gerri Franks of Merryville and 3 nephews:
Corey Carlson, Colby Carlson & Cole Michael Franks.

Kenneth was reunite4d in death with his brother: Michael Earl Franks
and hi grandparents: Lionel and Opal Kinney & Pete and Vivian Franks.
