Kay Weldon Galliano, 64, of Pitkin, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Alexandria, LA. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Weldon & wife Dolly of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Amber Austin of St. George, UT, Lynette Doyle of Pitkin, LA; brothers, James M. “Jim” Weldon & wife Shelia of Ragley, LA, David Weldon & wife Toleda of Sulphur, LA; sisters, Earlene Weldon of Pitkin, LA, Dolores Thompson of Sulphur, LA, Delaris Landry of Sulphur, LA, Audrey Ortego & husband Gilbert of Denham Springs, LA, Nettie Voisin & husband Sonny of Houma, LA; sister in law, Johnnie Weldon of Pitkin, LA; grandchildren, Christopher & Annabella Weldon, Tamara, John, & Hayden Austin, Darren Daigle, Katy & Colby Doyle; great grandchildren, Avery Austin & Amersyn Touchet.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Galliano; brothers, William R. “Billy” Weldon, Kenneth Weldon; sister, Iva Lee Bishop; parents, Ross & Bessie Weldon; son in law, Howard “Howdy” Austin.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5:00-10:00PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA and again on Tuesday; February 10, 2015 from 10:00AM until time of service. Services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 1:00PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA. Burial will follow at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, LA. Rev. Larry White & Bro. Brian Thompson will officiate.
