Kathy Simmons

Kathy Simmons, 64, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, May 24, 2018.

Kathy was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 43 years, Raymond Simmons of DeRidder, LA; son, Jason S. Simmons and Toni of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Mindy King and Mikola of Sanford, NC; father, Edward Cryer and Norma of Merryville, LA; brother, Gerald Cryer and Linda of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Hunter Simmons, Posey Simmons, Jolie Simmons, James King and a host of other family and friends. Preceding her in death are her mother, Jackie Day Cryer and infant child.

Visitation will be held on, Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 5:00 -  8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 28, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Brother A.L. Ott, Jr. and Brother Dalton Isbell will officiate the service.
