Kathleen Whiddon Lobes

Kathleen Whiddon Lobes , 81, of Merryville, passed from this life on Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Brother Jim Miers will officiate.  Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Daniel G. Lobes and daughter, Diana Waddle and husband Ronnie.  She is survived by three grandchildren, Jamie Lobes and wife Kaylee, Eric Lobes and Kristie Waddle and fiance’, Jordan Campbell.

She is preceded in death by husband, Anthony J. Lobes; father, Gilbert Whiddon; mother, Thessa Oden Whiddon; sisters, Norma Slaydon, Nina Vernon and Nona Lawton.
