Katherine Ashworth White

Katherine Ashworth White, 87, of Oakdale, LA passed from this life on Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Alexandria, LA.  Those left to cherish his memory are her sons, Thomas White, Jr and Louis Ray White, both of Oakland, CA; daughter, Mary Holmes of Oakdale, LA; sister, Deloise Jamison of Richmond, CA; brother, Henry Ashworth of Richmond, CA; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas White, and parents, George and Mary Ashworth.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation is from 9:00am until 10:30am with funeral services beginning at 10:30am.  Burial will follow at Oakdale Community Cemetery in Oakdale, LA.  Bishop Larry Gasaway will officiate.
