Juanita Hines Copenhaver

Juanita Copenhaver was born in DeRidder, LA on January 28, 1936, the daughter of Louis and Flora Simmons Hines. She passed away in her home peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the age of 88.

Juanita retired from the dairy business after thirty-two years. She was an avid gardener and day lily hybridizer, of which she won numerous awards both locally and nationally for her creations. She will be remembered in the hearts of many.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Susan Copenhaver of DeRidder, LA and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Copenhaver; son, Greg Copenhaver; seven siblings and her parents.
