Joyce Irene Williams Singletary, 93, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Douglas Singletary and JuTina of Merryville, LA; brother, Junior Williams and Carol of Beecher City, IL; sisters, Iva Dean Jones of Decatur, IL, Roberta Forbes of St. Elmo, IL; sisters-in-law, Joyce Everett, Alice Tibi; brother-in-law, John Singletary; dear friend, Lynn Smith of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Heather Echols & Korky of Merryville, LA, Heath Singletary and Christina of Merryville, LA, Adley Perkins of Merryville, LA, Lasa Grady; great grandchildren, Destin Stutes and Aaron, Hunter Echols and Madison, Rowdy Singletary, Pandora Bennett, Lessie Perkins, Story Perkins, LeRoy Perkins; great-great granddaughter, Whitley Monroe Stutes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Willard Singletary; parents, John and Goldie Williams; brothers, Ray Warren Williams, Delbert Williams; sisters, Charlotte Engle, Sharon Myers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Kermit Bostelman will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Heath Singletary, Adley Perkins, Korky Echols, Hunter Echols, Dave Nalley. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
