Joyce Inez Duplonty White, 85, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Carol Snapp of DeRidder, LA, Linda Perrin and Michael of Spurger, TX, Cindy Holcomb and Larry of Carriere, MS, Sheila Honea and Robert of DeRidder, LA, Earl Lee “Bubba” White, Jr. and Tina of Rosepine, LA, Glen E. Alexander and Kandi of DeRidder, LA, Dustin C. Alexander of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Helen Duplonty, Mary Ruth Duplonty, both of Merryville, LA; 22 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; special cousin, Erlene Jackson of DeQuincy, LA; son-in-law, Roy Jordan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee White, Sr.; daughters, Dorothy Baggett, Brenda White Jordan; parents, Clyde and Lillie Mae Duplonty; four brothers; one sister; four grandchildren; sons-in-law, Claude Snapp, John Baggett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 24, 2021, also Church of the Lord Jesus Christ on Bob Nichols Drive in DeRidder, LA. Brother Clyde Snyder, Pastor George Lee Glass, Brother Brent Johnson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tyler Gallo, Kameron Johnson, Mitch Perkins, Glen Alexander, Dillon Lee Holcomb, Claude Snapp, Jr., Jeremy Holcomb, Corey Honea. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba White, Dustin Alexander, Robert Lynn Honea. Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.

The White family would like to thank Dr. Chris Granger and staff, Heart of Hospice and staff and a special thank you to nurses, Ashley Schecher, Alex Liles, Elise Guintard. The family also wants to give thanks to her pastor and church family, who she loved dearly.
