Jonathan “Brady” Pennington, 31, of Deridder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2015 in Houston, TX.


Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 9 years, Peggy Pennington, his 6 year old son, Preston Alexander Pennington and his 3 year old son, Parson Grant Pennington all of Deridder, LA; parents, Kenneth and Carma Pennington of Burr Ferry, LA; brother, Brett Pennington and wife Kelli of Burr Ferry, LA; sister, Shaunda Mitchell her husband Kade and daughters, Kami, Kyli, and Kadi of Leesville, LA. Grandmother, Von Savell of Kirbyville, TX; brother-in-law, James Jeane of  Lake Charles, LA; mother-in-law, Liz Terry and husband Stacey; father-in-law, Jerry Jeane and wife Debbie, grandmother-in-law, Peggy Jeane all of Leesville, LA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thurman Fee; grandfather, Leo Pennington; grandmother, Vada Chance, and uncle, Jerry Pennington.


Brady was a family man who loved his wife and two sons dearly. He valued time spent with all of his family. He was a good friend to many. He was a 2009 Graduate of McNeese State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a maintenance engineering supervisor at Packaging Corporation of America in Deridder, La. He was also a master cabinet builder and finish carpenter. He took great pride in all of his endeavors. He was an honest man who believed in hard work. He was a great example to us and he will be missed by many.


Visitation will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church in Burr Ferry, LA. Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church. Rev. James Herrington, Rev. Eddie Tilley, and Rev. John Welch will officiate.
