Johnny Manino

Johnny Manino, 88, of Junction, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February, 22, 2022.

Johnny was an Air Force Veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW post 3619 in DeRidder. He owned and operated Manino Automotive Repair and was a Beauregard Parish school bus driver for eighteen years. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Frances Manino of Junction, LA; children, Karen Cooper and Danny of Junction, LA, Greg Manino of Junction, LA, Gary Manino and JoAnn of North Carolina, Cindy Stahl of Ohio; grandchildren, Leah Myers and Bryan, Madison Manino, Dawson Manino, Makayla Manino, Erik Manino, Kevin Manino, Andy Stahl, Matt Stahl, Lauren Stahl, great grandchild, Barrett Myers, and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luke Manino; mother, Pearl Manino, sisters, Evelyn Vawter, Rose Russell, Dora Alston, and Merline Williams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA and will continue at 11:00 AM, on Friday, February 25, 2022 until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Elder Chad Boone and Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Danny Cooper, Bryan Myers, David Jeans, Chris Whiddon, Derek Quave, Aaron Hare, Abe Hare, Ben Hare.   Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Junction, LA.
