Johnie Fay Myers

Johnie Fay Reed Myers, 79, of Starks, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. 

Those left to cherish memory are her sons, William Myers and Elizabeth of Starks, LA, Douglas Myers and Connie of Vidor, TX; daughter, Janice Wilkerson and Johnny of Vidor, TX; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and many special friends she has made over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Jewel Reed; sisters, Dot, Billie, Betty, Mary Ellen, Patsy; brother, Butch; the father of her children, Doug Myers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2024, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pallbearers will be Justin Sliman, Blake Owens, Michael Thompson, Catlin Johns, Shane Barlow, Huey Charrier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Sliman, Jim Jim Stout. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
