Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 8:00 until time of service at Gambrell Baptist Church in Starks, LA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Gambrell Baptist Church in Starks, LA at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, LA.

Those left to cherish his memory are: spouse, Faith Pickering, father, John Says; mother, Debra Peveto, grandmother, Laverne Says; sons, Phillip Says and Dealin Carpenter both of Starks, LA; daughters, Brittany Eaton, Veronica Willis, Lillian Says and Enjoli Kibodeaux all of Starks, LA; brothers, Phillip Says and wife Karen of Vidor, TX and John “Frank” Says and wife Emily of Starks, LA; sister, Misty Barks and husband Dustin of Starks, LA; granddaughter, Gracey Carpenter of Stark, LA; life long friend, Wallace Granger and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by; grandfathers, Phillip G. Peveto and Nade Says, grandmother, Ethel Nichols.
