John Wayne Ford, Sr.

John Wayne Ford, Sr., 76, of Sugartown, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 26, 2018.

John loved the outdoors riding on the 4-wheeler and spending time with the grandchildren. He enjoyed a good day’s ride on his Harley motorcycle.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sally Ford; sons, John W. Ford, Jr. of Livingston, TX and Kenneth Billings and Kristi of Brighton, TN; daughters, Theresa Farris and Johnny of Livingston, TX, Teresa Ferrell and Ronnie of Sugartown, LA and Tammy Plumley of Sugartown, LA; brother, Harley Ford of Sugartown, LA; grandchildren, Kara Ford, Corey Ford, Steven Dauzat, Wyatt Farris, Morgan Billings, Lindsey Billings, Kyle Billings, Jaden Billings, Ian Billings, Christian Cortez, Troy Ferrell, Nicole Ferrell, Myranda Plumley, Madison Plumley, Jonathan Plumley, Jordan Plumley and Kalyn Hoke; and twelve great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Booger Red” and Veta Ford; brothers, William “Billy” Ford, Donald “Don” Ford and James “Jim” Ford; sisters, Marie Ford-Starr and Jean Ford-Wimberly.

Visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018. Visitation from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM with funeral to begin at 3:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
