John Wayne Cooley

January 24, 1937 - February 9, 2015

John Wayne Cooley, 78 of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, February 9, 2015.  Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Kenneth G. Cooley and wife Carol of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Klayton Cooley and wife Faith of Moss Bluff, LA, and Kelsey Cooley of DeRidder, LA; nephew, Kerry L. Cooley of Baton Rouge, LA.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Cooley; brother, James G. Cooley; and sister-in-law, Betty L. Cooley.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Wednesday, February 11, 2015 beginning at 9:00am until time of service at Shady Grove Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service is Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00pm at Shady Grove Pentecostal Church.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Rev. Jeff Phillips and Rev. Donnis Ashworth will officiate.
