John Elliott Pruitt, 58, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Pruitt of DeRidder, LA; son, John Andrew Pruitt of Lake Charles, LA; daughters, Madelyn Pruitt, Miranda Pruitt, Maigen Pruitt, and Sydney Pruitt all of DeRidder, LA; mother, Jaleama Martin of Merryville, LA; sisters, Joy Chaney of Orange, TX, and Sherry Doyle of Merryville, LA and many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM with a Rosary Prayer at 6:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, LA.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Goldonna, LA. Reverend Jude Brunnert will officiate. Pallbearers are Randy Sanchez, Stuart Benoit, John Paul Galloway, Logan Williams, Leigh Pruitt, and Liam Heiland.
