John Edwin Whiddon, 41, passed from this life on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home from 10 AM until 1 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA at 2 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2009.

Survivors include the following: Mother: Bobbie Whiddon of DeRidder, LA; Brother: William D. “Buddy” Whiddon of Katy, TX; Sisters: Carolyn W. Carroll and husband Alan of Haughton, LA, Sammie Jo Marchie and husband Mike of Merryville, LA, Gwendolyn K. Borel of Rosepine, LA, and Terry Jean Alston and husband Coy of Longville, LA; as well as 12 Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Father:  John Roy Whiddon.
