John Edward Baggett, Sr.

John Edward Baggett, Sr., 66, of Boyce, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, John Baggett, Jr. and Heather of Elmer, LA; daughters, Kimberly Mahaffey and Greg of Tioga, LA, Tonya Alabid and Wissam of Alexandria, LA, Jessica Hamilton of Glenmora, LA, Brandi Frederickson and Robert of Moss Bluff, LA, Dottie Gatewood of Pitkin, LA; brother, Daniel Baggett of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Wanda Linscomb of Jonesville, AR, Bobby Willis of Silsbee, TX, Brenda Craft of Frisco City, AL; twenty-two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Baggett; parents, Joseph and Mildred Baggett; grandparents, Dan Baggett, Joe Guillory, Azelina Granger; brother, Rodney Baggett; sisters, Rincey Mae Croll, Mary Link.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Clyde Snyder will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Patrick Mahaffey, Brendan Mahaffey, Gabriel Mikolaszuk, Nicholas Baggett, Bradley Baggett, Kameron Johnson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Joseph Mikolaszuk. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.
