John E. Dobson

John E. Dobson passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2017.  He was born to Eddie and Iona Dobson in Seabrook, Texas on May 23, 1936.

After high school he joined the U.S. Army and became a paratrooper, where he spent the next 21 years.

He and his wife Emma Dobson owned and operated Mother Goose Day Care for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Emma (Jean) Dobson of DeRidder, LA; two sons, John R. and wife Marilyn and Zane (Tony) and wife Martha both of Deridder, LA.

Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA.   Service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM, also at Grace Church.  Interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Kipling LA. Pastor George Lee Glass and Bro. Jimmy Glass will officiate.
