John Davidson

John Davidson, 69, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, John Davidson (Lacey) of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Pamela Davidson of Stuart, VA; sisters, Helen Davidson and Evelyn Parker, both of Birmingham, AL and Catherine Mulvihill (Jack) of Pompano Beach, FL; grandchildren, Alyssa Davidson, Ayla Davidson and Aydan Davidson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Anne Davidson; and his brothers, George Davidson, Frank Davidson, Bert Davidson and Mike Davidson.

John was a great man in so many ways to his family, friends, co-workers and customers.  He was a good story teller and jokester. He loved the outdoors, was an avid saltwater fisherman and absolutely loved to ride his Harley-Davidson.  He will truly be missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 1:00 pm.
