John Carl Cloar, 61, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, December 30, 2018. John enjoyed the time he had and he always loved to take time out to fish.

Those left to cherish his memory are spouse, Griselda Cloar of Merryville, LA; sons, Thomas Cloar of Merryville, LA, and Aldris Nunez and Madeline of Merryville, LA; daughter, Grisleidy Frias of Merryville, LA; mother, JoAnne Cloar of Merryville, LA; brother, Jake Cloar and Pamela of Merryville, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Cloar; and brother, Thomas Cloar.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. No funeral services are scheduled.
