Joel Emory Peterson

Joel Emory Peterson, 66, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Katelyn Peterson of Rosepine, LA; mother, Ruth A. Peterson of Rosepine, LA; brothers, Abe Peterson and Sarah of Rosepine, LA, Dale Peterson and Rose of Rosepine, LA; sister, Melissa Brooks of Navarre, FL; grandson, Slade and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Peterson; niece, Mary Kathleen Peterson; brother-in-law, Robert Brooks; great-nephew, Ethan Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Brother Steve Thomas and Brother Gary Bankson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Stuart Peterson, Samuel Peterson, Richard Borel, Herman Hall, Budd Allemang and Joseph Sliman. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
