Jimmy Lee Young, 68, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in DeRidder, LA.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Leslie Allan Young and wife Heather of Oklahoma; daughters, Cassandra Kay Young, and Charity Lee Walters and husband David all of Texas; brothers, Thomas Young and wife Denise of Fredricksburg, TX, and Russell Young of Rosepine, LA; granddaughter, Melody Rose Fletcher of Rosepine, LA; great grandchildren, Andrew Hext and Hailie Murray.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 4:00pm until 10:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 12:30pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Canon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Bro. Jerry Day will officiate.
