Jimmie Lou Dowden, 67, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Angela Moore of Rosepine, LA, Batina Baker of Douglas, WY, Brandy Werczynksi,of Casper, WY, Melissa Boyd and Corey of Casper, WY, Bobbie Snapp and Ronnie ”Bubba” of DeRidder, LA ; father, J.D. Dowden of Deweyville, TX; brothers, David Phillips of Simpson, LA, Danny Dowden of Jasper, TX, Richard Dowden of Jasper, TX, Jimmy Dowden of Jasper, TX ; sisters, Martha Toothman and Rodney of Port Allen, LA, Wesley Lane and John Deon of Leesville, LA;  grandchildren, Sean, Keely, Christy, Jordon, Kevin, Chyna, Sab, Britt, Kendra, Tori, Nicole, Ethan, Ashley, Trista, Aston, John, Austin, Teia;  great grandchildren, Hunter, Jaret, Myla, Kinsleigh, Bonnie, Jeremiah and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Marie Wright; sister; Fran Lassaigne; brother, Jerry Phillips; step-father, James Phillips.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 9:00 Am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Batina Baker will officiate the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Moore, Kevin Baker, Sebastian Paquette, Johnathan Boyd, Austin Boyd, Ethan Eklund and Ashton Snapp.
