Jewel "Buddy" Ralph Cazes

Jewel “Buddy” Ralph Cazes born on March 28, 1936 to Jewel Cazes and Lucille L. Gravois.  Born in Holmsolms, LA, passed from this life on August 26, 2017.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Annie Cazes of DeRidder, LA; two daughters, Vicki & Charlie Bernard of Zachary, LA and Debra Cazes Gulotta & Greg “Humphrey” of Plaquemine, LA; stepson, Rod & Patti Bailey of DeRidder, LA; two step daughters, Sheila & Lewis Brinkley of Merryville, LA and Billie Jo & Richard Knight of Knight, LA; one living brother, Billy and Bernadette Cazes of Clinton, LA; two living sisters, Terry & Bryan Ewing of Prairieville, LA and Bonnie & Frank Stubbs of Pride, LA; one Godchild, Jennifer Nettles of Livingston, LA; two granddaughters; two grandsons; two great grandsons; and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jewel Cazes; mother, Lucille L. Gravois; brothers, L. J. Cazes and Roy Cazes; and sister, Kathy Mayeaux.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Bethel Grove UPC in Merryville, LA.  Funeral service will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM also at Bethel Grove UPC in Merryville, LA.  Reverend Roy Hoosier will officiate.  Pallbearers are Robert Lott, Chad Brinkley, Richard Knight, Galloway Knight, Wesley Coon and Keith Walker.  Honorary pallbearers are Eric Moore and Church Members.  Burial will follow at Hinson Cemetery in Knight Community, LA.
