Jerry Wayne Luttrull

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Luttrull,61, a beloved husband, father, and proud Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant on Monday, October 14, 2024. Born on December 8, 1962, in DeRidder, LA, Jerry lived a life full of love for his family, a passion for riding his motorcycle, and a dedicated service to his country. He was a devoted father to his five sons, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. 

Throughout his 22-year career in the Marine Corps, Jerry served honorably, embodying the values of loyalty, courage, and commitment. His dedication to both God and country was unwavering, earning him the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of seventeen years, Lauren Luttrull of DeRidder, LA; sons, Jesse Luttrull of West Virginia, Matt Luttrull, Keon Cella of DeRidder, LA, Trajan Cella and Bella of Moss Bluff. LA, Hadrian Cella and Kylie of DeRidder, LA; brother, Glenn Luttrull of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Dana Whittington of Sulphur, LA, Shonda Veronie of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Thea Luttrull, Raiden Cella and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys West. 

Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Jerry's life and legacy will be held in the coming days. Details for the services will be announced in the near future. In the meantime, let us remember Jerry as a cherished husband, father, and Marine who lived his life with integrity and honor. Jerry's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
